About Kolobcreek Canyons
In an effort to chronicles canyons, I used to use a gallery to display pictures and videos now that we generally take throw away digital cameras down the canyons. However, I have found that I take as many videos in canyons as pictures and put together panoramas to give a better sense of perspective. The old gallery simply didn’t have the tools needed to display these with any sort of elegance, hence Kolobcreek Canyons blog.
Unfortunately, I have no pictures for many canyons our normal group has done. We either forget a camera or never get it out… Moreover, I don’t get to the good canyon country as often as I would like.
I currently reside in Orange County, California where I am a patent attorney with the international law firm of Greenberg Traurig, LLP. I grew up tromping around Zion National Park and, as many people who spend a lot of time in Zion come to discover, realized I needed to learn to descend canyons if I was to see many of the gems the park has to offer.
In my spare time, I spend time with my wife and daughters, read, play basketball, and tinker around with computer stuff, like weblogs. Mostly, I sit in a too cold office writing patents. Because of my marital status and because I have children, I tend to be fairly moderate in the risks I will take in canyons. Thus, you probably won’t find too much in the way of pictures of the Heaps/Sandthrax type canyons.
I hope you enjoy.
